Pravasi Setu Foundation Partners with Ghazipur Literature Festival 2025

Pravasi Setu Foundation is delighted to announce our collaboration with the Ghazipur Literature Festival 2025, one of the first large-scale literary events in India to bring focused attention to Girmitiya literature and history.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Prof. Pooja Priyamvada for providing us the opportunity to be part of this important platform. We are equally grateful to Ambassador Anil Sooklal for his invaluable support in helping us become a partner at this remarkable festival.

📖 The Ghazipur Literature Festival is a celebration of literature, history, and culture, bringing together writers, scholars, artists, and audiences from across India and beyond. This year, it carries a special significance as it highlights the experiences and voices of the Girmitiyas—indentured Indian laborers whose journeys and struggles shaped communities across the world.
