This day is a tribute to the indomitable courage and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, whose struggles built the foundation of a free and sovereign Bharat. Their bravery, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the nation’s cause remain an eternal source of inspiration.
Equally, we honour our Indian diaspora and migrant community, countless in number, whose sacrifices and contributions often go unrecorded in history books. From remittances that fuel India’s economy to critical support during times of crisis, our diaspora has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the motherland. Their efforts—whether in rebuilding after disasters, amplifying India’s global presence, or preserving cultural heritage abroad—form an inseparable part of our national journey.
On this Independence Day, we reaffirm our gratitude to:
