As we reflect on the incredible journey of our first symposium, “Cultural Connections, Political Realities: A Symposium on Indian and Chinese Diaspora Policies,” we are filled with gratitude. This event was not just a meeting of minds but a celebration of the rich tapestry of our diaspora communities and their global impact.

We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who joined us, both virtually and in spirit, on Friday, 8th March 2024. Your enthusiasm, insightful questions, and active participation transformed this symposium into a vibrant forum for dialogue and learning.

A special shoutout to our chair, Siddhant Mishra, and our distinguished speakers, Sweta Basak and Ankit Kumar, for leading the discussions with expertise and passion. Your contributions were invaluable and have set a high bar for future events.

Special thanks to Dr. Daniel J, Ph.D for brief and interesting intervention!

We were thrilled to see so many engaged participants, and the exchange of ideas was truly inspiring. The discussions underscored the complexity and significance of diaspora policies and their role in shaping cultural connections and political realities.

As we close this chapter, we are already looking ahead to future events and initiatives. The Indian Diasporic Network is committed to fostering dialogue, understanding, and collaboration among the diaspora community. Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to engage!
