We are excited to share a comprehensive review and analysis by our team member, Anshif Ekkadan, on the Ministry of External Affairs’ Twenty First Report. This critical evaluation sheds light on several key areas affecting the Indian diaspora:

๐Ÿ”น Enhanced Registration: Emphasizing the importance of registering with Indian Missions/Posts, especially for migrant workers and students. The report highlights the need for proactive outreach to ensure comprehensive databases for effective crisis management and support.

๐Ÿ”น One Stop Centres (OSCs): Addressing the progress and urgent need for operationalizing OSCs to support distressed Indian women abroad. The report underscores the necessity of additional services like legal aid, counseling, and vocational training.

๐Ÿ”น Global Indian Studentsโ€™ Portal (GISP): Focusing on the development and potential of GISP to safeguard Indian students abroad. The portal aims to provide accurate information to help students make informed decisions, reducing the risk of scams and fraud.

๐Ÿ”น SWADES Initiative: Evaluating the impact of SWADES in mapping skills and facilitating employment for returning Indian citizens. The report highlights the importance of broader outreach, user-friendly registration, and alignment with skill development programs.
