PRAVASI SETU FOUNDATION INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME (APRIL–JUNE 2026)

Pravasi Setu Foundation invites applications for its April–June 2026 Internship Cohort, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the global Indian diaspora through research, policy, outreach, and media work.

As a leading think tank focused on migration and diaspora studies, the Foundation provides an intellectually stimulating platform for individuals seeking academic, professional, and global exposure.


🧭 ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in diaspora engagement, research, and institutional work. Interns will contribute to ongoing projects, reports, and initiatives of the Foundation while working closely with a dynamic and globally connected team.

Participants will gain exposure to:

  • Research on Indian diaspora and migration
  • Interaction with global diaspora personalities
  • Institutional and embassy-level engagement
  • Media, journalism, and digital communication
  • Policy-oriented analysis and documentation

💼 INTERNSHIP ROLES

Applicants may apply for one of the following roles:

1. Research & Policy Intern (Indian Diaspora)

  • Conduct research and literature review
  • Assist in policy analysis and report writing
  • Participate in diaspora interviews and documentation

2. Outreach & Partnerships Intern

  • Connect with diaspora individuals and organizations
  • Coordinate interviews and collaborations
  • Support institutional partnerships

3. Fundraising & Grants Intern

  • Identify funding opportunities
  • Assist in proposal writing
  • Support resource mobilization efforts

4. Digital Media & Communications Intern

  • Manage social media and website content
  • Design posters, reels, and outreach materials
  • Promote research outputs and initiatives

5. Media & Journalism Intern (Pravasi Pulse)

  • Write articles, reports, and features
  • Cover diaspora-related developments
  • Assist in podcast and media content creation

🎓 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Open to individuals pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Strong interest in diaspora, migration, international relations, media, or related fields
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting

👉 Preference will be given to candidates with relevant academic background or experience aligned with the chosen role.
