Applications Open for the 83rd Edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) 2025
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, has announced that applications are now open for the 83rd edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) — a flagship initiative designed to connect young members of the Indian diaspora with their roots, culture, and contemporary India.

- Last Date to Apply: 19th October 2025
- Programme Duration: 10th November 2025 to 28th November 2025
The programme offers participants a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of India’s economic progress, governance models, cultural diversity, and social initiatives through a mix of academic sessions, field visits, and interactions with policymakers.
🌏 Who Can Apply
- Indian diaspora youth members (Persons of Indian Origin – PIOs)
- Age group: 21–35 years
- Eligibility: Must be of Indian origin (not holding Indian passport)
- Passionate about learning and engaging with India’s heritage and development journey
