Md Amman Perwez is a committed legal professional joining Pravasi Setu Foundation as a Research Associate, where he will oversee legal aspects related to migration and diaspora. With an M.A. in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University and an LL.B. from the University of Delhi’s Faculty of Law, Amman brings robust expertise in legal research, policy analysis, and legislative processes. His academic journey has been distinguished by scholarships such as the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship from JNU and the Nirman Foundation scholarship.
Having held responsible positions within several university societies and amassed significant internship experience—including as a Research Associate at LiveLaw—Amman combines strong analytical skills with leadership in both research and advocacy. At Pravasi Setu Foundation, he will contribute his keen understanding of law and policy to publish insightful articles, shape the organization’s legal perspective on migrant and diaspora concerns, and support efforts in building awareness and reform through informed analysis.
